Latest Leasing Success at Town Centre House

A recent letting means that the first wholly refurbished office building in Leeds City Centre to achieve an Excellent BREEAM* rating is now nearly fully occupied.
Developers Town Centre Securities PLC, advised by agents Sanderson Weatherall, have let the entire top floor of Town Centre House to engineering firm, Hoare Lea. The company, a leading firm of consulting engineers specialising in mechanical, electrical and environmental engineering, has taken 4,000 sq ft on a ten year lease at an initial rent of £15/sq ft in the latest deal at the building.
A pro-active marketing campaign has generated strong levels of occupier interest at the landmark building. Town Centre House offers over 40,000 sq ft of high quality offices over six storeys and this latest deal means that over 95% of the scheme is now either occupied or under offer.
Ian Cowley, partner of Hoare Lea noted the competitive advantages of the building saying: “We were seeking to upgrade our office accommodation to better reflect our values of quality & sustainability and are excited to have secured these prestigious offices"
Richard Dunn of Sanderson Weatherall says:"Whilst general market conditions remain challenging, this latest letting demonstrates that there is robust demand for high quality office space with strong “green" credentials".
Helen Beckett of Town Centre Securities comments: “Town Centre House is a unique building in Leeds. We offer top quality, “green"office accommodation, flexibility and great overall occupancy costs and value. Occupiers such as Hoare Lea also appreciate the convenience of the building and we are delighted to welcome them to TCH".
